Description
The all-new Canycom CMX2414 is widely regarded as one of New Zealand’s most capable slope mowers, designed to make mowing steep, rough, and overgrown land significantly easier and safer.

Powered by a robust 24 horsepower Honda GXV690 engine and featuring a 975mm cutting width, the CMX2414 is well equipped to handle a wide variety of challenging terrain and vegetation.  At its core, the machine uses a shaft drive cast iron gearbox that delivers maximum power and torque directly to the flail deck, eliminating the need for belts that can slip, wear out, or require replacement.  This design ensures consistent performance, even when tackling tall grass, thick gorse, broom, weeds, and dense scrub up to two metres high.  The durable flail blades finely mulch vegetation while safely deflecting off rocks, with added protection provided by shear pins located on both the shaft and gearbox.

The CMX2414 also features a dual-range hydrostatic transmission combined with a selectable positive differential lock, allowing operators to choose the ideal setting for different conditions, whether moving quickly across open paddocks or working through heavy hillside growth.  Built for stability, the mower is rated for slopes of 25 degrees and more, thanks to its ultra-low centre of gravity and extended long-wheelbase chassis.  This design helps the machine stay firmly grounded, delivering exceptional traction and balance on terrain that might challenge a standard ride-on mower.

Operator control is precise and confident, with responsive hand lever and front brake controls that make manoeuvring easy and safe.  A large hydrostatic tank with dedicated cooling supports consistent performance over long working hours, ensuring the CMX2414 remains both dependable and highly capable no matter the task.
